The equator crosses the southern slope of Cayambe at an elevation of 15,387 feet, just above the snowline.
So there is indeed a part of the equator where you can make a snow angel year round.
Some of the snowiest areas south of the equator include the southern tip of the Andes in Argentina and Chile near Tierra del Fuego
and Patagonia and the Alps on the South Island of New Zealand including the Franz Josef and Fox glaciers.
