This canvas is absolutely enormous..!
One of the largest paintings by David Shepherd that I have seen.
It would look spectacular in a modern house, or barn conversion with a large expanse of wall.

An early original painting by David Shepherd,
Undoubtedly painted in the surrounding countryside in Sussex/Surrey that he knew so well, and where he spent most of his younger days.
These scenes are becoming more difficult to find, and it is an absolute pleasure to be able to offer this painting for sale.
Although world renowned for his paintings of wildlife, this painting illustrates how the artist was able to 'turn his hand' to almost any subject.
